Tom Petty - Wildflowers

My absolute favorite love song is "Wildflowers" by Tom Petty.

It's not a very well-known song, but I think everybody should listen to it because it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. This is the song that was playing when the first man I loved told me he was in love with me. We had gone for a long drive in the country and watched the sunset.

I thought I knew what was coming, but then we pulled back into his driveway and so I thought that we were done for the evening. But then he put this song on and turned to me and told me he loved me.

It was one of the happiest and most romantic moments in my life, and so I think this will forever be my favorite love song.

Besides that, though, I think this song is so beautiful because it talks about things that I wish for everyone that I love...belonging somewhere you feel free, surrounding by the people and things that you love.
