My Dear Lost Love,

It has been many years since we parted, and I still miss you every day. I would be lying if I said I didn't think of you often.

Even though we both moved on with our lives long ago, I always wonder what would have happened if we had worked out our differences and stayed together. Would we have married and raised a family?

It makes me sad that I will never know what might have been. We were so young when we met, and we both had a lot of growing up to do. That was what ultimately pulled us apart, I think. We didn't know how to compromise and stay together while supporting each other.

All I know is that I can still hear a certain song and it takes me back to dancing in your arms. I can pass by certain places in town and still see us hanging out, holding hands, and enjoying being together.

I will always cherish the way you looked at me the night when we first kissed. You will always be my first love, and will always hold a very special place in my heart. I wish you nothing but happiness, and please know that I will always love you for what you were to me when we were young.
