The Way People Dress These Days

Back when I was young we took pride in how we looked. Sure there were times when we wanted to look more casual but today it seems like everybody under the age of 30 is trying to look scruffy on purpose. Boys/Men think it's OK to wear pants that are too big. Girls/Women insist on wearing shirts that are too small. Maybe they should meet in the middle and wear clothes that actually fit!

And don't get me started on the things I see printed t-shirts these days. Who decided it was OK to broadcast foul language, for everyone to see, on the front of your t-shirt? Just a month ago I was in the mall and this young lady of about 17 was wearing a shirt with the worst-of-the-worst 4-letter word printed on it. Back when I was a young man girls didn't even speak that word let alone wear it on their clothes.

If that makes me a grumpy old man so be it!
