"The song "He's so Fine" by the Chiffons is one of my favorites and definitely evokes memories of my childhood. I used to have an old cassette my mom gave me called "Sock Hoppin' Sixties" that had the song on it, and I'd listen to it every day. I would listen by myself in my room. I learned all the songs by heart, but this one always stood out the most because of the chorus where the girls say "Do lang, do lang, do lang." At least, I think that's what they say. I always sang it to myself and still do to this day. The song took on a new meaning for me when I was 14 and had my first real crush. It reminded me of that boy then. I would think of him when I heard it, and I still do even though we don't talk or even run into one another anymore and haven't for years. It's a bittersweet song for me now because that whole relationship was pretty messed up. I like to think of him but obviously can't separate the bad stuff out and forget about that. I recently looked for the cassette or it's CD equivalent online, but I couldn't find any in good enough shape. I was planning to buy it for my mother for Christmas but didn't end up doing it."
