Summer Camp Love

The best date ever was when I met this boy named Bradley at church summer camp. The crickets were chirping and the summer was coming to an end. Bradley and I met one another at the pool at the camp.

He started talking to me when I accidentally bumped into him and cracked his sunglasses. I felt so horrible about that! He laughed at me and we talked for a couple hours. He later asked me if I had dinner plans, I said no. He then said he would love to take me out to dinner and get to know me better. He took me to a local crab shack that was on the waterway.

We talked about our future plans and school. He lived in Georgia and I lived in North Carolina. We sat outside on the deck and had two sweet teas and a basket of crab leggs the water was beautiful. After eating dinner we went to the lake where we were staying and walked up to a park bench and watched the sunset. After the sunset he walked me to my room and kissed my cheek good night. We ended up hanging out the last two nights I had left.

We exchanged numbers but as time went by the distance got the best of us.
