Romance in the Big Easy

The best date ever for me was the first date my husband and I went on.

We both lived in New Orleans, and decided to go downtown for the day. We went to the Riverwalk, a mall next to the Mississippi River.

Then, we walked downtown, ate lunch at a jazz bar, got beignets (French donuts), and did some shopping. Then, we caught a movie at a local theater. Our date was only supposed to last a few hours, but we didn't get home till almost midnight. New Orleans is the most romantic city to have a first date in!
