Robin Wright Penn is my Favourite Actress Over 40

There are a lot of celebrities over 40 now and of them all I would have to single out Robin Wright Penn is my favourite actress over 40. Robin seems like the total package (minus the crazy/saint husband).

First of all she is an amazingly talented actress and has been in the business for decades working steadily. She has chosen a wide range of roles in fun movies like The Princess Bride and serious roles like in White Oleander.

She is believable in everything she does and when I watch her on screen I feel like she is that character. She has a way of not being a celebrity when she’s on screen, you forget that she’s Robin Wright Penn, and that is a quality that actresses like Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston don’t have.

Robin is as beautiful today as she was in her 20’s because she carries herself with poise and wears classic clothing and minimal make-up. Her hairstyle is always something simple and she just appears confident and relaxed.

Then there are actresses like Laura Flynn Boyle who looks seriously disfigured with all the plastic surgery. Every time I see her on television or in a magazine I am shocked that any doctor would be willing to do more work on her.

As well, she looks ill with the severe low-weight. She sadly does not seem mentally okay and that reflects in her appearance. It is a shame because she was quite a brunette beauty before.

When I reach 40 I wouldn’t mind being a cross between Robin Wright Penn and myself, natural and authentic.
