Persistance Pays Off

My current boyfriend is someone that I did find on an online dating website. I have been dating him for a year now. I found him on the website plenty of fish. I wasn’t sure that it would work for me. I am 40 years old and couldn’t seem to find anyone worth dating around my town. My sister had asked me to try this website because that is where she found her partner so I decided to give it a shot. I went out with a few people off of it and it didn’t work out. I went through hundreds of messages from potential daters and none really fit for me for about 6 months. I finally got a message from the guy I’m dating now and decided to talk to him. We talked online and on the phone for a week or two before we met.

Then we finally went on our first date. He brought me flowers and opened the car door for me. I thought it was great to have a guy with some manners. We went to the park and walked around then went out to get some ice cream. It was a really relaxed date and I decided it would be good to see him again. We kept seeing each other and eventually started dating and are still dating now. It was a great opportunity using a website it makes it easier to find people you would never meet in person.
