Classic Love Songs | Top Love Songs

Peggy Lee Fever - Lee was an American jazz singer/songwriter who sang with the Benny Goodman band early in her career.

She started her career singing for pennies (or food) on local radio, and by the end of her career, was a world-famous singer and sometime actress.

"Fever" was released in 1956 and reached number 8 in the US pop charts. The song was an R&B tune that was adapted for Peggy Lee, and became a mainstream hit. Elvis Presley recorded his own version of the song around the same time.
