Parents do get involved

I think there is a great difference when your parents find you a partner in your life, because parents want the partner to have a good job, security, financially well off etc.

Love, happiness comes later but when I search for a partner I would prefer if he loved me at his own space, gave me his love and took me to places and to take me for what I am and not what my parents are.

Age is not a matter at all, as long as the man is loving, kind, understanding.

At first when i registered with shaadi.com I was 43 years and I never informed my parents but later through conversations on the phone, they were listening and anxious to know and i had to spill the beans to them about me registering on shaadi.com. They never took it lightly and started to find out about the site.

Pressure from parents when their child has yet to find a partner in life, yes they pressurise very much and they start advising you about picking the boy/man from your own religion, class etc.

Later when they know you have found a partner let it be through shaadi or through friends etc, they want to fix every thing up at such speed and before you can blink, you are married.

But I am glad to say I married the partner from shaadi.com. and I am very happy.
