Not All Men Cheat

Unfortunately I've been cheated on a few times.

I believed for a long time that it was something that all men did if given the chance.

The worst time was in college when I was dating this guy who I still to this day insist brainwashed me. He told me every day for nine months that I was in love with him and finally after nine months I agreed to give him a chance.

I think the power of suggestion really works because I truely believed I loved the man, but he was verbally abusive, so I don't think I really loved him. I only thought that I did.

After three years of dating, he slept with a girl who lived across the hall from me in my dorm. He claimed that they were doing laundry at his house because it was too difficult for her to do it at the dorm and she ran into his room naked and jumped him.

He claims he blacked out at this point despite being sober, yet still managed to be conscious enough to use the condoms I had bought for him and obviously was conscious enough to do the deed. She came over to room later and smiled in a smug manner as she told me she had slept with my boyfriend.

He of course denied it when I asked him, until I told him she was just over. At that point he cried like a child and begged for forgiveness. I'm glad she told me and honestly glad it happened because I am for once in a healthy, happy relationship and I no longer believe all men are as pathetic as that one was.
