I had the time of my life on the emotional roller coaster with the heart doing the flippy thing and me saying woo-woo with the ride despite the experience of hooking up to a con who wrote words I longed to hear, to feel special, adored and loved. He was very convincing, knew what he wanted in a relationship, expressed himself very well.

We spent almost 8 weeks doing the word dance, wooing, courting and intense emotions on his part and beginning on my part. He found me gorgeous, irresistable, special, amazing, his angel, his love, his darling, his sweetie, his queen. He made me laugh and I made him laugh. I would point blank tell him my perceptions of what he was writing, tell him about my life but knew enough not to give out specifics.

His replies were always he falling in love with me every day as he looked into my eyes of the picture I sent him.

It was all for naught.

It seemed too good to be true in such a short time. With research, there were no records on him whatsoever, no birth records,no record of his telephone number, no obits of his wife and daughter supposedly killed in an auto accident in a city he did name and the year, no evidence anywhere about him.......his PHD in Physics....hello.

He was working his way into getting a plane ticket or marriage or whatever his game plan was.

After the discovery of having the wool pulled over my eyes, I picked myself up, brushed myself off, and ready to try again but with more wariness.

I am 63, average fit, full of whatever, active and on the go....my third adulthood and more than ready to date. The predators of elders, shame on you....as if you care.

I still have not connected to any good fellow looking for a serious relationship but will keep exploring. Trust is a big issue in signing up for senior date sites.
