Date My Pet is a lovely personals site. It works on two possible levels; as a dating site for human-beings, and as pet dating site (where Fifi or Fido can make friends with other Fifis and Fidos). Which is a cute idea, and a refreshing change from “regular” dating sites. Which can become a bit samey and, dare we say it, boring, when you’re reviewing like a zillion of them a day…

Sigh. Your reviewer really needs to get a pet. Or a boyfriend. Or both…

2. Vegetarian Dating

Vegetarian dating (and vegan dating) is becoming a viable lifestyle choice as more and more people decide not to eat anything with a face.

Green Friends.com is one such site; catering to vegetarian dating, vegan dating and general green-ness.

If you’re a green who's into environmental stuff and/or not eating meat, this is the site for you. Green Friends is refreshingly different and has a nice, friendly vibe to it.

Military singles covers a broad range of people when it comes to the dating world.

Anyone in a uniform can be found on military personals sites. Armed forces personnel (of course), but you'll also find police officers, paramedics, firefighters, reservists.

Maybe even forest rangers.
