Never ending saga with Dating Sites

by Lee

I got divorced in 2000. Around 2001 I posted my profile in a few matrimonial sites to be precise ( as these are different from dating sites). Few to quote are Shaadi.com, Bharat matrimony, Jeevansathi.com.

I have received several expressions of interest and also met quite a few suitable prospects in person through these sites. But to my bad luck most of the men I have come across are either already married, living apart from their wives and just wish to have a friend or a good pass time the way I understand!

Of course there has been a few who were serious about a relationship but then it didn't work out for different reasons.

I keep looking at pictures of happily married couples posted on some of these sites and wonder are they for real?? Maybe its my luck or something else that I could not come across a suitable partner to get into a serious relationship/marriage.

Even now there seems to be more of dating/friendship sites on the internet which I perceive as just a waste of time as when we get older we look for serious relationship/commitment rather than friends or temporary boyfriends to entertain us (either married or single!!)
