We like: Having such a large membership to draw from (over 15 million), you’re more likely to find someone compatible, and in the right age range. Although not marketed as a senior dating site, this personals site is a good bet if you're over 40.

The site has good privacy and safety features (all communication between members is anonymous), and also offers tips on how to remain safe online. Profiles are reviewed before they go live on site.

They offer a guarantee – if you don’t find a match within 6 months (with a six month subscription), you get the next 6 months free.
