Is Anyone Looking for a Serious Relationship?

I've used a couple of dating sites in the past geared towards black people (among others), such as myself, and I haven't had a lot of success with them.

Sometimes I feel like there's people on there just looking for a booty call instead of a serious relationship, which is what I'm aiming for at my age. I think in this day and age it’s more complicated to find love than it was before. It seems like the rules of the game have changed.

Back in the day, tradition was just for the families to pick the suitors, but now it’s all different. After getting divorced, I’ve had a lot of trouble going back to the dating scene, especially having kids. I can’t own up to them that I’m using a dating site, I’m shy about it. How would I explain to my little boy that I’m looking for a new mommy for him? It’s tough.

However, if I met a woman from there interested in something serious I think that one day we’d have to tell him how we met.
