I'm Glad I Took a Chance

Having ended a 4 year relationship to a woman that I had hoped to marry, at the age of 46 I felt that I was no longer going to be able to find a special person to spend my life with.

In addition, I had hoped to have children by this time. A few months after my relationship ended, I was at a family reunion and one of my sister's friends recommended that I join some online dating sites. I was not particularly taken with the idea, so I let them go about making my profile. After a few weeks, I decided to look online and found that I had quite a few responses from some very beautiful women.

Needless to say, I decided to get back on the wagon and get over the perceived stereotype associate with online dating. It actually turned out to be a great experience, and the women I met happened to be really great people. In the end, I have been dating my current girlfriend for over a year now, she is 34, a professional, beautiful, and we are both beginning to talk about wedding ideas.

I think that anyone reading this may think that it is not likely that such luck will happen to them, but my recommendation to them would be to give it a try, as you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
