I was 38 when I was Widowed...

I was 38 when I was widowed and I thought my life was over, however time heals all wounds. However the dating rules seemed to have changed since 10 years before when I was dating. I really felt like a fish out of water. I had a couple of strikes against me.

First my age, I was 40 and re- entering the dating scene. And also my weight, I was wearing size 18/20 pants. It was really different this time around. I am a member of an online political debate forum however so in between parties and hanging out with friends, I spent long hours on the forum I developed a lot of friends on the forum but we all logged in under aliases so I didn’t really know anyone’s real name or anything about them.

I began working with Soldier’s Angels and took up donations to send to the military overseas. I posted on the local forum that I was accepting donations and James said he had some items to donate if I would come get them. Our first meeting lasted for over 5 hours with us just talking and sharing life stories. Within a year we were married.
