I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing - Aerosmith

About 12 years ago, my then-boyfriend and I learned we were expecting a baby.

He proposed to me a few nights later. In that time frame, we went to the movies to see 'Armageddon'. In that movie was the song 'Don't Wanna Miss a Thing' by Aerosmith.

We loved it so much, and thought it was a perfect coincidence to hear it at that time in our lives. So we decided it would be OUR SONG.

For our wedding, at which our son was 6 months old, we danced to that song for our first dance together as a married couple.

We still hear the song from time to time, and both of us immediately look at one another and smile. It is a beautiful song but to us it is even more so because it is so special to us.

Well, I am the type of person that changes constantly the music tastes but my favorite love song of all the times I think it is ?I don't want to miss a thing? by Aerosmith.

Why? Because it's beautiful and has a lot of feeling, you can feel it inside you when you sing it, it reminds the person you love, and how much you will do for that person and then you get the desire to stay forever with him, hold his hand, and never let go.

I imagine my lover and I walking together through a park at night, seeing the stars, the moon, saying beautiful words to each other and then a deep kiss in a private room. It's a pretty romantic song.
