So many country songs could fit the billing, but when narrowing it down to my absolute favorite for a love song, the choice is Gene Watson's, "I Don't Need A Thing At All".

The song basically speaks of everything going on around us and day to day living, but no matter what is happening in this life, I have found my place, and that is with you.

My existence and needs have been fulfilled because you are there and nothing else really matters. The song takes me back to a special time and that special someone. It takes me back to yesterday, to my youth, when words had meaning and when love was a commitment of your inner soul.

You could relate in how the song spoke from your heart and expressed what we knew we felt for one another. Even today, more than 30 years later, the tune is still very dear, and because we have each other, we don't need a thing at all.
