Elton John - Can You Feel the Love Tonight

The most memorable love song for myself is by far, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," by Elton John.

The song was the "first dance" that my wife and I had at our wedding seven years ago, and our wedding was truly a blessing. Originally, I liked the song, but wasn't crazy about having it as "our song" at our wedding.

But, my wife loved the movie "The Lion King," so much, that she pretty much insisted that this be our song. And although I objected somewhat, everytime I see the Lion King, or hear that song on the radio, it brings back wondeful memories of one of the greatest nights of my life, my wedding.

I was truly fortunate to marry the greatest woman on earth, and that song now symbolizes a lot to me.

Now having two young children (ages three and one), that song is even more powerful today, than it was the day we got married. Looking forward to telling our kids one day that this was "our song."

I wonder what song they will choose?
