Dolly Parton - Here You Come Again

"Here You Come Again," by Dolly Parton, always brings me back in time.

When that song was on getting a lot of play the radio, I was in my late twenties, and in a long distance relationship with a man that just didn't want to make a commitment.

We both dated other people, I think because in our hearts we knew that we weren’t that well suited for each other. Just about the time I would be ready to end the relationship and move on, he would come around again with flowers and apologies. Everything would be good for awhile, until I got tired of him not being able to decide whether he wanted to be with me or not.

Then we would start the whole cycle all over again. Eventually we ended our involvement with each other and fell in love with other people, but whenever I think of him I think of that song.

It fits my bittersweet memories of him and what was happening between us.
