Dating in my 40s is Harder

I have found that dating in my 40's is much, much harder that it was in my 20's and 30's. For one thing, the pool of men to choose from is very small...and they know it! Some men have a tendency to feel superior and narcissistic.

However, I'm sure I feel the same and it comes across when I meet someone new. I'm 44 and have a full-time job, no children, own my vehicle outright and live alone in a small rent house.

I am NOT looking for someone to save me or protect me or anything like that. I'm looking for my friend and partner. I am looking for someone to complement me.

I realize everyone has baggage but our baggage doesn't necessarily have to match. It can clash sometimes but overall, out baggage can also co-exist peacefully. As long as we're willing to TRY and open to it everything can work out.

I believe there is someone for everyone...and I'm still hopeful.
