Brad Paisley’s “Then” has to be the absolute BEST country love song out there.

Besides the fact that he has an incredible voice, the lyrics are so sweet and poignant that you can’t not love it!

For me the song has really special meaning. The song totally reminds me of my fiancé.

Especially the line about how it takes 45 minutes to kiss goodnight.

My fiancé was practically backed up on the other side of the car because he was so nervous to kiss me. It was hilarious, but of course you aren’t allowed to laugh at guys are you?

When we listen to this song together he always laughs because he knows that’s pretty much a description of him. The song also reminds me of how I got engaged.

My fiancé and I met at the university where we both took music classes together. He took me back there to propose. So when Brad mentions how he took his girlfriend back to the place they first met, it’s completely perfect for us!

I think it’s a love song everyone can relate to because love is constantly growing. You always tell yourself you won’t love this person more than you do now, but that’s a lie. Somehow you end up loving them more and more each day.

MY favourite country love song is also Brad Paisley's "Then".

This song has a lot of meaning to me, it is the way I feel about my girl.

We met years ago, my mother and her family are friends.

I liked her for a while and never said anything. Well, she grew up got with a man and had a baby. They had split and i asked her out one day.

That was when I can say I thought i loved her. The more we talked and dated the more I fell in love. So on the night first told her I loved her it was only the beginning now she's my whole life and my world, I thought I loved her then. Well as this relationship grows just like in that song our love keeps growing, and I know when I propose I'll say it then to.

Then on our wedding day I will once again look back and say I thought I loved you then.
