We like:

You’re forced to enter basic preferences (smoker, want children or not, drink habits, body type, age, etc) when signing up. Most profiles were thoughtfully written and had a photo.

This is a technologically slick African American dating service with a great reputation.

Our initial searches had results of at least 1000 members aged 40-55, 55-65 and 75 plus for both sexes. The search function will only display 1000 members at a time, so you can be assured that there are at least that many members of each gender in each age range.

There are also more than a few wags (mostly women who are resisting giving their real ages) who’ve listed their age as 99 when they’re obviously much younger. So the 70 plus demographic may be a bit skewed! Either that, or some of these people are very well preserved, indeed.

Nothing so far. Black Singles is a well run, popular site and a good choice for your senior black dating adventures.
