We filtered for 40 plus singles in our area (Canada) and were pleasantly surprised by the number of profiles our search found. Ages ranged from early forties to mid-fifties (the ages we’d specified) and the profiles were mostly thoughtfully written, by pleasant-looking people.

We like:

The member profile page looks good and is laid out with the user in mind.

We don’t like:

There are unnecessary spelling mistakes on the intro page. Picky, yes, but that has the potential to put people off. If we hadn’t been reviewing the site we might not have gone any further. Because we’re very picky. After all, this is a professional site (part of a large network of online dating sites) offering a service. “Testimonals” “Hansome”. Learn to spell, BigCupid webmaster people.

Aside from that, though, this is a nice-looking plus size dating website with good features. If you're a beautiful big woman or man, this could be the site where you meet your soulmate.
