Art Walk in San Diego
by Ana
First, we went out to dinner at a cute restaurant called Park House Eatery, where it was quiet enough to talk and the atmosphere was quirky and unique. He was very careful to make sure the restaurant would work with my food allergies, which helped him score some big points. We had an amazing dinner, and after we were finished he brought me down to Ray Street for the art walk. We explored numerous exhibits and he chatted with the artists in such a natural way that I wondered if he was an artist himself. I found out later that he is simply able to fit into any social situation and can carry on a conversation with anyone, regardless of the topic. We sipped on wine at each exhibit and as we walked down the warm streets of San Diego in the middle of the night, I couldn't help but feel giddy every time he reached for my hand. It felt like my hand belonged in his and I knew he was the one for me. I never believed people when they said it felt like electricity was flowing between them when they first held hands...but I felt it that night and have continued to feel it for the past year and a half. We've had many wonderful nights like that night and I can't wait to wake up every morning because that is another day I get to spend with my handsome sweetheart.
