We like:

You’re required to fill in several questionnaires and small essays before you can join as a free (Standard) member. This ensures a minimum profile quality that some other sites are lacking.

Afro Introductions is a big, popular black dating site with plenty of members over 40, so your chances of finding “the one” are very good.

We did two searches for men aged 40-42 and 50-52 and the search returned over 1000 results for each age group. Ditto for women between those ages. So there are plenty of members aged 40 plus on this site. So in terms of senior black dating, it gets a thumbs up.

They have a comprehensive Help section online.

You can do quite a lot with a free membership.

After you sign up, your welcome email has plenty of hints and tips as to how to best use the site.

We don’t like:

We couldn’t find any information on whether membership renewal is automatic. Presumably it is (with most dating sites it’s automatic until you turn it off).

Aside from that minor point, this is an impressive Afro introduction site with a wide variety of nice-looking members.
