42 and Looking Good

I am 42 years old and I am proud of the way I look. I am still as sassy as I used to be when I was 20. The fact is I cannot party anymore like I used to when I was much younger because am devoted to building myself an empire in my business. I however make sure I don’t get sloppy in terms of fashion as I age.

I consider myself a ‘fashionista’ and still will even when I am 60. I love my miniskirts and intend to keep them up as I grow older thanks to my slim genes which my parents passed on. The biggest problem with dating as I get older is definitely the guys. I want to date men who are as intellectually stimulating as I am not some young college kid who only wants to get in bed every time we are alone.

Unfortunately this is a problem for me because not many men out there are conscious of how they look. Many of them have beer bellies which I personally do not find attractive. If I workout so hard to look good. A man should do more. The few who look great want the younger 20 something girls so most times I feel like a little fish surrounded by sharks (no disrespect to the 20something girls).

When I look at a woman like Julia Roberts still looking good at forty-two without botox then I am inspired to eat right and work out thereby making sure my skin feels young. If am able to keep that up I will never have to subject myself to the rigour of a surgeon for plastic surgery. I have nothing against it; I just do not think I can bring myself to do it. I try to do everything within my power to look good.

I was once in a club with some friends and this college kids comes up to me and asks me for a dance. After the evening I made the mistake of telling me him my age. He just said ‘no problem I am attracted to women my mom’s age’. Not only did it sound wrong, it felt sick the way he said it. It did make me feel old but am compensated by the fact that many young guys out there are genuinely interested in older women. All I need to show them is that whatever they are getting from the 20something girls I got more. More money, more self respect, more love and even if they take it to the bedroom I still got more.
